Compañia Mazatlán Bellas Artes of the Instituto Mazatlán Bellas Artes presents Posada Navideña Featuring traditional Mexican folkloric dances and music, this popular family event celebrates the wonderful folk culture of Mexico during the Christmas season. December 11th, Friday, at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.
Unique holiday customs and traditions are portrayed through the presentation of the “Pastorela” (pilgrimage) made by Joseph and Mary before the birth of Christ. Enjoyable for people of all cultures, this performance will make you feel as if you've been transported to Mexico for an uplifting dose of traditional holiday customs.
