SWING GOTH - Rear Room

1st and 3rd Tuesday's @ El Rio (and some 5th "Toos"days)!!! Both El
Rio and Swing Goth were Best of the Bay. El Rio for their happy hour
with $3 wells and drafts 6-9 and $3 margarita's all night. Swing Goth
for it's unique approach to partner dancing to modern music. 8pm-9pm
Basic Swing Dancing, no partner required, all levels welcome. In this
class we start from basics and focus on the fun! Our dance lessons are
all about connection and communication with a partner rather than foot
work. Oh sure, we give you the foot work too, but we make sure you're
dancing before we even talk about your feet. ($5) 9pm-1am FREE OPEN
DANCE! We don't just swing to goth, we waltz to 80's, polka to gypsy
punk, sway to indy... and on and on... mix, match, repeat. Also, for
those who know a little somethin'-somethin' there's 7-8pm Beyond
Beginners, a series where we explore more interesting dance moves.
These classes rotate monthly or bi-monthly and are partner strongly
preferred. ($5)
