In conjunction with the San Jose Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival, Camera 12 will host a very special, one time only screening of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival hit, La Mission, on Monday, Sept. 21st at 7:00pm. All seats are only $5, and stick around for a Q&A with the film's cast and crew, including star Benjamin Bratt and his brother, Peter, who directed.

Set in the colorful, seedy streets of the San Francisco district that bears its name, La Mission is a powerful story of redemption imbued with the curative power of Aztec tradition. Feared, yet respected, as the baddest Chicano on the block, Che, a reformed inmate and recovering alcoholic, resorts to violence and intimidation to get what he wants. A bus driver by day, Che lives for his beloved son, Jesse, his lifelong friends, and his passion for lowrider cars ... until one day his macho world is crushed when he discovers that JesseÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s been living a secret life.
