THE FEDERALISTS
The Federalists blend country, pop, and classic rock styles, drawing from Wilco, Ryan Adams, The Rolling Stones, Steve Miller, and The Band. "The band has the kind of warm, familiar sound that helped propel into the mainstream Bay Area acts such as the Counting Crows and Train. The album is steeped in classic-rock influences, its timeless appeal deepened by the intertwining melodies and richly textured folk-rock arrangements." -SF Chronicle

JONATHAN DEVOTO
Jonathan Devoto is lead guitarist of the Matches, the popular Oakland-based rock band with three albums out on Epitaph Records. Devoto, who has received raves and accolades for his guitar work, vocals, and kinetic stage presence has recently started playing shows for his side-project. "Devoto brings a chameleon-like quality to the lead guitar slot in the Matches, as he's equally adept at sunny pop-punk and lo-fi fuzz as he is on theater-punk and loud rockers." --Alternative Press
