For 27 years, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen has been the premier culinary and wine event in the country. The three-day weekend brings Food & Wine to life with cooking demonstrations, food samplings and wine tastings. Seminars led by food and wine luminaries, such as Mario Batali, Bobby Flay, Danny Meyer, Giada De Laurentiis, Dan Philips and Joshua Wesson, provide a world-class educational and entertaining experience.

Shafer wines are spotlighted in two of the weekend’s stellar events:

Ray Isle, wine editor of Food & Wine magazine will host a seminar called "Best Wines of the Year" featuring 2004 Hillside Select in his line-up. 

Richard Nalley, wine writer for Forbes, will lead "The Merlot Comeback" seminar in which he’ll feature Shafer’s 2005 Merlot, which was named “Best Merlot of the Year” last year by Food & Wine editors.
